Healthy Servings, Healthy Mind
Hey Friends
Busy week with the holidays and trying to get work done. I finally found some time to sit down and write the newsletter though. I hope you all had a nice week with whatever you celebrate:) Anyway, let's jump right into it.

Healthy Mind and Body
All this thanksgiving food got me in a coma. I haven't eaten like that in a while, lately, I have been trying to be more conscious of what I eat and my physical activity. I started drinking 16 oz of celery juice every morning and I'm about 1 month in now and have noticed a difference. My mind feels more alert, my stomach feels great and my skin is looking nice. I recommend it to anyone and it's nice to have another routine in the morning when we live in such uncertainty. In addition to that, I have been trying to focus on mental health as we all should. I'm not here to preach another "positive vibes" message to you. However, try to get out for at least 30 mins a day and go for a walk to clear your head. You will find some great things happen during that disconnect and if you don't at least you got some sunshine.
Obby & Jappari
This week I had an amazing chat on my podcast with Obby and Jappari. The two of them were actually the most requested guests to have on the podcast EVER. They are such a talented duo from Germany whose work is ahead of its time. It is so nice to see people so respected and looked up to in the community because it gives me confidence in the design world constantly improving. They are the perfect example of working hard, being creative, and sticking to your guns can really turn into something great. We chatted about them going from making fake work for Nike/Underarmor to actually working with them. That really reminded me how we just need to create regardless of the goal or outcome and moves will start to be made. Go check out some of their work on Instagram.
YouTube Design Journey
I have been doing YouTube for about a year and a half now. I am hoping to hit 5k subscribers by the end of the year but we will see. At times I have gotten discouraged when obsessing over the numbers, however, when I get kind messages from y'all it helps me push forwards. It's crazy to think I started this year with 400 subscribers so I am very grateful for this growth. I have yet to miss posting content at least once a week and am proud of that. Youtube has given me many opportunities past just a view or like count. I have formed so many amazing relationships and taught people some valuable stuff over this past year and it is very rewarding. I encourage all of you as creatives to put yourself out there more. Whether it be Youtube, streaming, or even showing your face more in Instagram stories. I hope to see more of your faces out there in the design zeitgeist and again I just wanted to thank you all again for supporting me and what I do.
